I messaged you back on Twitter and wanted to re-iterate how inspiring your Museum of Care project sounds. As I mentioned in a recent tweet, I just finished reading David’s “Les Pirates des Lumières”, which was yet another amazing book teasing out the complexities of history.

Having had the opportunity to know and talk regularly with my friend and mentor David Graeber for the past ten years or so, it seems to me that I would be ungrateful if I did not pay tribute to this great man who will remain an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me and for so many others.

David Graeber died unexpectedly from a massive haemorrhage of the pancreas in Venice on 2 September his year. Obituaries summarize the life of someone who is no longer with us. This is not an obituary in that sense – it is prospective more than retrospective.
