On David Graeber’s book about bullshit jobs (in Catalan)

This is another summary of Bullshit Jobs, but it approaches the book from a different perspective. Alió highlights that the kind of work Graeber describes—sophisticated and technologically advanced—differs from the alienated labor described by Marx, which was typically repetitive factory work. One of the key points she raises is that eliminating bullshit jobs could help reduce global warming, as fewer work-related commutes would lead to lower emissions.

Comments by DGI volunteer Pere Carrillo Camps:

I wanted to highlight this contribution because it offers a perspective that differs from the usual discussions around Bullshit Jobs. I’m particularly struck by the idea that the book can open up creative ways of thinking about the relationship between ecology and the world of work.
